Method: How to open a new lane - starting a collaboration with a cultural institution with a clear artistic project, but looking for the necessary artistic resources afterwards.

Everyone have a long-cherished dream, which has never been realized due to the lack of money or energy. What better country to realize the American dream, than... U.S.A.! When we asked artists from our neighbor E6 Medieverksted if they had an unrealized project, which we could help with. They pulled out their drawer of «forgotten projects» and took out projects about Norwegian emigration to the USA in the early 1900’s. They had a dream, together with Vesterheim Museum (the biggest museum with over 10 000 artifacts from Norwegian emigrants to the state of Iowa): To hold workshops for Norwegian and American school children in order to create an animation film about this topic using state-of-the-art technology. Studium Actoris could not decline such an opportunity. This is the first time we have developed a «Highway» by finding institutions with interest in the topic itself and the financial stability to create a self-financing project.
